The world’s smallest and lightest ultra-compact body for a 35mm AF SLR camera
Minolta α-Sweet II
Released in early July 2001
As an evolution of the first α-Sweet, aiming for higher performance and ease of use, we have boldly made a full model change and put on a new concept body that has been shaped up in order to make the body compact and inherit the multi-functionality of higher-end models. Then, α-Sweet II debuted.
As part of that, his NT was the first in the world as an actuator for the safety lock function (locking the opening and closing mechanism so that the back cover does not open from the time the film is set until the rewinding is completed). Uses H7-TTR wire. Achieved space-saving and simple structure.
