The Specialty Metals Division supports industries and medical treatments around the world with Ni, Ti, and Cu-based alloys and their processed products.

• ● Ni-Ti (Nitinol) alloys with shape memory and super-elastic performances, used in medical equipment for minimally invasive surgery.
• ● Cu-Ni alloys for electrical resistance and Ni-Cr alloys for temperature measurement,  used in industrial equipment and plants.
• ● Ni and Ni alloys with high heat resistance, used in automobile.

Furukawa Techno Material supplies highly functional alloy products to niche market with its own unique characteristics.  Here in Hiratsuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, we have realized an integrated manufacturing system from melting to final product size under high quality control. We also provide flexible technical and sales support to meet the needs of our customers for each alloy product. Furthermore, we deliver our products to customers all over the world through the worldwide network of the Furukawa Electric Group.
